LBK is a student organization representing all students at the Faculty of Bioscience engineering. Our operation relies entirely on volunteers who, in addition to their studies, want to dedicate themselves to their fellow students. As a faculty student association, LBK ensures that the voice of the students is heard within KU Leuven. The student opinion is represented both at the faculty level and university-wide. Additionally, the LBK presidium provides the necessary relaxation for its students, from cantuses and parties to sports events and cultural outings. The Baarr
Most of our student hang out at the Baarr. This is our cosy lunch and meeting area, where you can buy your lunch at very cheap prices. In the Baarr, you can also find our bookshop. The sandwich bar and bookshop are always open during weekdays and closed in the weekend.
Gnorgl
Our cozy café Gnorgl is the base for every bio-engineer, and is located at Geldenaaksebaan 2. Every evening (from 10 p.m.), the Gnorgl team will be on hand to spoil you with the best (non-alcoholic) cocktails and the coldest beers. On quiet evenings, we transform our fakbar into a cosy café where you can watch a football match on our TV or play some card games with the tappers.
