NFK (Nieuwe Filosofische Kring) is the student association for the faculty of philosophy, and will be your guide to life here at Leuven! We represent the (abridged) bachelor and master students in education related topics. NFK is here to make sure you have all the opportunities to make the best of your time here in Leuven.
Not only are we a very diverse and international faculty, but we do not have association membership so everyone is very welcome to join into whatever activities take your fancy! We organise social events, parties, cantusses, theatre shows, European trips and so much more to which all students are welcome!
We have a Faculty Bar evening, often known as a Fakbar evening every other Monday at MALZ beer bar (Brusselsestraat 51). These are often theme nights with feature drinks, game nights and many other events, but are always a good time to come and meet other philosophy students of all programmes and get to know new people over a drink or two!
